Installing Mods for Your V Rising Server (BepInEx)

In this guide, we will take you through the steps to install mods for your V Rising server using BepInEx. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure a smooth installation process. Step 1: Create a Backup
Before making any changes to your files, it's crucial to create a backup. This ensures that you can restore your server to its previous state in case anything goes wrong. To create a backup, navigate to the Backup tab in your Peel Panel and create a new backup.
Step 2: Swap Your Server to BepInEx Version
If your server is not already set to use BepInEx, you will need to swap to this version. To do this, go to the configurable options in the client portal and select the BepInEx version for your server.
Step 3: Add Mods and Dependencies
In the Startup tab, you will find an area labeled mods. Here, you can add your mods & dependency strings from Thunderstore.
Step 4: Reinstall the Server
Next, navigate to the Settings tab in the Peel Panel and click on Reinstall Server. This step is necessary for the changes to take effect and to ensure that the mods are loaded correctly.
Step 5: Wait for the Server to Reinstall and Load
Wait patiently while the server reinstalls and loads. This process can take a few minutes. Do not interrupt the process as it may cause issues.
Step 6: Verify Your Mods
Once the server has reloaded, verify that your mods are working correctly. You can do this by joining the server and checking for the changes that the mods should have implemented.
